[Direct P2P Sync Between Two iOS Devices]

  • You can wirelessly sync notes and folders between two iOS devices, when iNote is installed on both devices.
  • This allows you to easily sync all notes and folders (except hidden ones) between your iPhone and iPad, for example.

[Direct P2P Note Transfer to Another iOS Device]

  • You can wirelessly transfer a note, including hidden one, to another iOS device when iNote is installed on both devices. This creates a copy of the note on another device’s iNote’s home folder.
  • This allows you to directly send an individual note to other people’s iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, for example.

[Bug Fixes]

  • Fixed a bug that the application crashed after Google Docs sync ended, when synced after the application was back from background.
  • Fixed other minor bugs.

  • Full-screen viewing mode

You can open a note with full-screen viewing mode by tapping "No Edit" icon on the right when you open a note. Full-screen viewing mode disables keyboard and automatically detects URLs, email addresses, and phone number.

  • Quicker new note creation

When a new note or an empty note is opened, the keyboard automatically opens and you can start typing right away.

  • Orientation Lock option

You can select screen orientation among "Auto Rotation", "Portrait Only", and "Landscape Only".

  • Start At Home Folder option

You can select start up view between last opened view and home folder.

  • Added new Google Docs sync option

Added “Direct Edit” option (It was always on in previous versions). By turning this option off, files created on Google server is not directly edited (overwritten) so it is protected even in case of server trouble, network trouble, etc.

[How to sync when “Direct Edit” is off] 1. Download a file. 2. Open the downloaded file on your iPhone or iPod touch, then “upload”. 3. A new file is created on Google as a separate file from the original file. The new file can be synced since it is uploaded from iPhone or iPod touch. 4. Just tap “Sync” on your iPhone or iPod touch to sync.

  • New Google Docs sync options

- Added “Auto Download” option to automatically download a Google Docs file into the last opened local folder when the Google Doc file is opened. (The default is on.) - Added “Auto Sync Start” option to automatically start synchronizing when “G” button is tapped. It is reccomended to turn off this option if the device is mainly used off-line. (It was always on in version 2.0.)

  • Redesigned as a Core Data application. Core Data is a data management framework Apple provides for the Mac and iPhone, and by using this latest technology, back-end is largely enhanced including stability, memory efficiency, etc.
  • Enhanced Google Docs operation. In addition to synchronization, user interface was integrated and now you can handle online documents almost the same way as you handle notes in iNote.
  • Added “Clipboard” that allows you to insert a registered text clip into your note by just one tap.
  • Changed the start up view from home folder view to the view that is open last time the application quit.
  • Full text search results directly shows notes that contains the search words regardless of the folder hierarchy.
